Frank Bardonaro

Frank G. Sr, loving father of Frank (Priscilla) Bardonaro Jr, Deanna (Bryan) Sturgeon, Deborah (James) Morgan, Angela Bardonaro, Brad (Amy) Adams and Sally (Todd) Heine, dear grandfather Tyler, Brandon, Kelsey, Alexys, Ethan, Mitchel, Camryn, Megan, Ivey, beloved son of August and the late Mary Bardonaro Sr, dear brother of August (Marcia) Bardonaro Jr, Bruce (Sharon), Michael (late Phyllis) Bardonaro, Mark (Patty) Bardonaro, companion of S.P., many nieces and nephews, and a caring husband of the late Sandy Bardonaro. Frank was bestowed the honor of Hamilton County Sheriff Special Deputy, Kentucky Colonel, Elk's Lodge member of 30 years and proud member of the NRA. He was a member of "Sons of Italy", Mayor of Crestview KY, President of the Men's Civic Club, member of Pendleton County Country Club, avid golfer, World Champion Pitcher in Softball and a Purcell High School Graduate. He was a little league baseball coach for nearly 20 years, assistant coach for the Campbell County Red Devil's Football team, assistant coach for Newport Catholic High School Baseball and a positive influence in the lives of hundreds of children over the years. He loved every moment of time with his family, friends, organizations, and co-workers. His unmatched work ethic, passion for winning and determination have been instilled in the hearts of everyone he was around. He went over 30 years without taking a sick-day at work and personified the "Never Give Up" motto. His determination, spirit and faith gave him the strength to beat cancer 7 years longer than anyone said he could and still continue to enjoy his family and friends. He spent his entire professional career in the transportation, crane and rigging industry as a leader and mentor to hundreds of co-workers during his career with local crane rental companies. He loved his Sundays, and after attending St. Patrick's Church, he enjoyed hosting his favorite Sunday ritual of watching Sunday afternoon Football games as a "Family and Friends" weekly event. He always had a smile, kind word and pleasant attitude for everyone he met, which immediately endeared people to him. Frank will always be in our lives and will be watching over us from Heaven. He was always brave and a gentleman until his final breath. Frank passed away Tuesday, October 21, 2014. Visitation Monday 5-7:30 PM at the Vitt, Stermer & Anderson Funeral Home 4619 Delhi Rd. Funeral Mass Tuesday 10 AM at St. Dominic Church.
